About The Artwork

The installation uses the image of the leviathan to break down and rebuild the body of art. Which forms and materials is it possible to use to rebuild art and develop a new language of art? Here the main building block is the small molecular element. That is used to rebuild art again in a space. The two principle sources are particle physics and the history of the recent British empire and its colonies, and the principle figures behind the rebuilding of the British empire, along with key political and political philosophical figures. I want the viewer to join in the process of thinking about history. I have used simple and clear materials and forms that can be built up and expanded in whatever way is necessary, and that show my thinking process.
