ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The world we know is visually summarized through the use of geographical maps. However, the image of the terrestrial hemisphere that has been printed in our minds is the result of a centuries-old stratification of symbolic interpretations of reality belonging to the strongest cultures that have brought an impartial visual / symbolic understanding and the result of pure perceptions. Everything that surrounds us is the result of man's perception that is reworked and filtered by our culture to allow us to interact with each other, with other cultures, with other thoughts. The game of mirrors of the Matrix work follows these reflections and leads the viewer to question their own interpretation through the reverberation of their own image in the space of different continents.
