ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a new creation from my decades long ongoing series, "Luminous Woman". I wish that I could fly. I wish that I could do a flying dance. I hope that there are spiritual guardians that watch over me and everyone, and take us dancing in our dreams. I wish for light and love. Art is a nonverbal creation from the flowing of my brain juices. Maybe you will see what inspired me. Maybe, our minds will meet. I have an essential need for nature. I live in the deep country of Louisiana, beside a flowing stream. There is forest where I love to walk and look at the big trees, mushrooms, wild flowers and bamboo. I feel that I am a part of nature. Earthlings are natural. My art evolves. One image leads to another on the path of art. I have followed this path for six decades. This is a digital image, it makes a fantastic print with glowing color. I enjoyed making it and I hope that you will enjoy looking at it.

I live in the deep country of Washington Parish Louisiana where I have a beautiful studio. Our property is on a creek and we have some land on a hill. Nature is a jungle jumble here, sooo beautiful. It satisfies my deep need to commune with Mother Earth. As a child I grew up as an Air Force brat, moving about and experiencing diverse cultures. " I've been everywhere, Man." (Willie Nelson) "Daddy always kept moving so she did too." (Neil Young) North, south, east and west. Paris, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Central America. Where ever I have been I have savored the various local arts. When I was six years old the Air Force moved us to Japan. You might call it culture shock, my young mind expanded when I experienced art and culture so different from the USA. I paint or photoshop almost everyday and have done so for many decades. Nature and creating art are necessary for my peace of mind. Art is a path to explore my own mind and to connect with others on a deep level. I follow my muse, choosing from a multitude of different byways that beacon to me. Maybe you will see where my imagination flows. Maybe our minds will meet. I garden organic veggies and flowers. This is creative and at my age I need the motivation of gardening exercise to keep my joints oiled. I am married to a wonderful man, I am a Mom and Grandmother, and Great Aunt. We have loving get togethers for holidays.
