«COSMIC SYMPHONY» Astian Rey 2022 Chipboard, acrylic, enamel 94х94х7сm (9kg) Artwork was created under the inspiration of the medieval sacred art of alchemy and mysticism. Gothic letters located on four sides symbolize the four coordinate directions - north, south, west and east. The solar system with the trajectories of the planets is depicted inside. The work is made in the form of a bas-relief and consists of two layers of chipboard. Letters and other elements are cut into the chipboard and form a recess that separates them from the surface and creates volume. The letters and the circle in the middle are painted with gold enamel and have a reflection when the light hits them.
