ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Created from numerous layers of photos taken while visiting my second home, Cape Cod. Some of my family lives on the Cape. I love the birds, light, breeze, history, folklore of the sea, and the steady constant motion of the ocean. The beaches! I want to give the viewer a relaxed feeling and to have the healing effects of this cape sanctuary. The light fixture is from a sea captain's home and has endured many seasons, I love the ornate artistic shape. Someone made it many moons ago. These gigantic mallow flowers are everywhere in the summer on the Cape, happily growing everywhere.
