ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Created from numerous layers of photos taken while visiting my second home, Cape Cod. Some of my family lives on the Cape. I love the birds, light, breeze, history, folklore of the sea, and the steady constant motion of the ocean. The beaches! I want to give the viewer a relaxed feeling and to have the healing effects of this cape sanctuary. This birdbath, originally gray cement and very old, is now digitally sunny yellow. Hydrangea are ever- present (in the summer) and prolific on the Cape. Garden treasures grown with love by my brother, who is very special to me.
