About The Artwork
It is a series of collages, always made in a square format of 21 by 21 cm. Each of them tells a little story of moments, created at the end of the day, where my emotions are directly expressed. Just like in my paintings, the interaction between shapes, colors and textures plays a crucial role in my collages. However, there is a very important additional aspect to my collaged works. With each creation, I always keep recycling in mind. I only use elements that I find around me, whether they are leftover fabrics, pieces of paper, remaining threads from my paintings, or even fragments of my children's coloring, and many more. still others. Since my earliest childhood, I have always been guided by a passion for art, unconditionally supported by my family. In 2012, I completed my career at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, Poland, obtaining my diploma. The same year, I also obtained a Fashion and Textile Designer diploma. Despite my years in the fashion world, I was still missing something essential. Thanks to my experiences in fashion, textiles and embroidery, I was able to rediscover painting from a new angle. This allowed me to dare to do things that I would never have considered some time ago. Sometimes it is necessary to take a break to accumulate experience, then leave with a different approach, unexpected freedom, fresh ideas and revisited techniques.
