ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The human being as a symbol of expression is a constant in my art. For this artwork I used different media’s as Acryl, charcoal and foto transfer, so I can create emotional and visual tension through the contrasts of materials. The painting is an original mix of media, using many layers and still keeping the expression of the face as a central point. The painting is available without frame. Only professional paint is use. The sides of the canvas is painted in corespondent colours, so you don’t necessarily need a frame. Yours Amala

ART is LOVE,LOVE is ART.... Painting is my passion. It is my personal way to express emotions, feelings and impressions materially.Art offers a way of communication when words are not enough.I experience art as timeless communication . Each of my paintings begins with a feeling, an impression that touches me in a certain way. Nature, travel or when observing people. The human being as a symbol of expression is a constant in my art. I am a full-blooded autodidact. My portfolio includes semi-abstract portraits (as man as a symbol of expression is a constant in my art) and contemporary abstract paintings. I would describe my style as abstract expressionism, conceptually modern. With the help of colors, textures and shapes I let my creativity run wild until a for me perfect and harmonious unity emerges. I work cross-cutting with different media on my works and try to through different textures and techniques to evoke emotions. My current works show my continuous exploration of the medium of color. The images are mostly created with mixed techniques and translated with acrylic, charcoal powder and collage translated onto canvas. In this way I create an emotional and visual tension . You can see my art as abstract figurative. It depends on how you experience it. For me it is not so important to see it, but to feel the paintings I am happy when my paintings trigger a positive feeling in them and bring the room to life. to life. I am grateful and blessed to be able to paint is a gift to me. By experiencing my art - my gift - I hope that this can be transferred to more people.
