ABOUT THE ARTWORK
On the highway in my local area there is a Round-a-bout and in the center of it there is a big planting of Gymea Lillys. At this time of year in the late afternoon the sun shines through the lillys and they all appear to be GOLDEN. That was the inspiration for this painting. The next task was to paint it, so the painting was all one golden color but still have the definition of the lillys. That was achieved by using my mixed media. If you like Gold and you also like flora, then this piece should intrigue you.
