ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The beauty of classical music is both auditory and visual to me as an artist. This is one of a series of images that are my interpretations of what inspired famous composers. Handel's Royal Fireworks was composed for King George II of England to celebrate alongside real fireworks the signing of the treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle in 1748. This is my concept of the King sitting on his throne, and enjoying both the music and fireworks.
