Artist Profile: Mili Vega is a Peruvian visual artist and singer-songwriter based in London. Her multidisciplinary practice weaves painting, sculpture, and music into a visual language exploring identity, introspection, and transformation. Born into a lineage of artists, she began her artistic journey in Peru, integrating painting and live music in exhibitions and performances. After living and working for eight years in Mexico, she moved to London, where she continues to develop and exhibit her work internationally. Her recent collection, Renacer, was presented at the Inca Garcilaso Gallery of the Embassy of Peru in London for three consecutive months, reflecting personal narratives of renewal through sculptural and pictorial forms. Notably, her artwork "Becoming" from this collection was selected for the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale in China, where it was exhibited from December 2025 to February 2026. Looking ahead, she will present her next solo exhibition, titled "Sonqollay," at the Embassy of Peru in Berlin in July of this year.
