I'm Rajesh BUDHATHOKI, a visual artist based on Kathmandu-Nepal. I have completed my BFA program on sirjana college of fine arts.. I have been doing drawing since my school days, since I was influenced by cartoons and all the illustrated piece from the textbooks. As a kid I would learn to imitate those picture and build my interest on art. I like drawing random cartoonistic figures and subject with grotesque persona, using colour as important element on my works. " for me art is the natural feeling, it's a reflection of one's mind through expression!" I heavily like to associate musical concept on visual arts, like use of distortion on tones and other structural element of the composition. Jazz and other form of progressive music inspires me to perform more freely and continuously. I like to reflect musical vocabulary of improvisation through progressing gestural lines, and off- proportionate shapes.
