Artist Biography: Zainab Mehmood born in Lahore, 1993 Live and work in Lahore, Pakistan. She complete her BFA (Hons) Painting from Punjab University College of Art & Design in 2017. And she gets distinction in her thesis work.In the past she was doing Karate on National Level in “Red Belt” and won so many tournaments. Artist mostly uses to play with Oil colors. Her major medium Oil on canvas. She uses different composition who related to our surroundings. She inspires the baroque time period and their art And Culture. That's why she uses different royal patterns in the background of painting with rich patterns. Achievements: In 2017 during graduation won first prize in Glass painting Heldon "Naqsh Art Festival Society". In 2021 she won the Youth Art competition held on Bangladesh "Dhaka" . She is the member of "International art community" "Ibex-Collection" based on Germany. And now she is working with them for private collection. In Pakistan her artworks shows in different galleries like "Taseer Art Gallery", "O art space", "Ejaz Art Gallery" ,"Zulfi Art Gallery", "Alhamra Art council", "Canvas Gallery", Full Circle Gallery, Gallery 6. Internationally her artwork shows in Paris, Bangladesh, America, California, Newyork, Germany. Her work also punished in international magazine like America, India, and California. At the end of 2020 she done her last project with MIA Art Collection Virtual Art museum based on America. In 2021 her work also selected in Paris "shaping of figure" gallery. And she also selected in Bangladesh youth festival in Dhaka. And recently 2021 her work also selected in " Arjumand Painting Award 2021" .
