NYC Abstracts 19-Chrysler is an impressionistic painting of the Chrysler building using dots of color for the sky, the lights, windows and tower. I fused patterns and textures to create a bright image to evoke a happy feeling. I am a native New Yorker, have lived in NY for over 25 years. I love New York....thus this NYC Abstracts series focusing on the 2 famous iconic art deco buildings: The Chrysler building and The Empire State Building that were the tallest buildings in the world way back in the 1930's.
