ABOUT THE ARTWORK
NYC Abstracts 56-Empire is inspired by the famous Art Deco Empire State building on 34th St and Fifth Avenue that was built in 1930 during the depression. It has been standing there for 94 years! I imagined a sunny day with clouds that have blue and white textures and patterns. The building is lit up in a colorful red, pink and white abstract design that I created from using acrylic on paper on my photo of the Empire State building. Enjoy these patriotic colors.
