Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised in London, I've always been drawn to the expressive power of art. My early career as a professional makeup artist for the broadcast and entertainment industry fueled my passion for color, texture, and transformation. I lived in New York City for approximately 25 years during this time, immersing myself in the vibrant art scene and collaborating with talented individuals from various creative fields. I founded a successful makeup brand that has become a well-recognized name in the industry. While building my professional career, I never lost sight of my artistic aspirations. I continued to explore painting, photography, and video art on the side. Today, I'm dedicated full-time to my art, creating vibrant abstract worlds that blend maximalist energy with ethereal calmness. My work draws inspiration from my diverse cultural background, incorporating elements of nature, technology, and personal experiences. I utilize bold colors and intricate textures to evoke a sense of wonder and exploration in my paintings and experimental video art. With over 30 years of experience as an abstract artist, I delve into the intersection of nature and technology, often incorporating elements of macro-florals and light manipulations.
