Born 1949 East Midlands, U.K.. I'm a self-taught artist. I enjoyed photography through my early twenties then in my late twenties I started painting. I made copies of favourite paintings to begin with and found that here was my art school. Making copies but also studying the paintings and painters to adsorb the painting process. So I make copies for my own personal pleasure. I can't afford ten million pounds for a Monet so I make my own. I do like Abstract art , colour, shapes, form. I use the digital process because it's convenient and quick. I don't have a lot of spare time for making art.
