ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Wildflowers in alpine meadows of the Maroon bells. In the spring, I'm inspired by the colors and inspiration of Aspen Colorado's Maroon Bells wildflowers. The painting depicts a landscape in Aspen, Colorado with grassland full of flowers, tall grasses and distant clouds. I use acrylics and oils, my favorite brushes, and a palette knife to create intricate paintings. On the canvas surface, I apply Jackson Pollock drip techniques, acrylic washes, brushstrokes, and thick impasto with a palette knife. I also use Photoshop to create my prints on demand using digital brushes, including oil, acrylic, and splatter and spray paint Adobe and Photoshop brushes. The Flowerscape of Maroon Bells
