Born in Virginia, Sarah now lives in Wellfleet, Massachusetts within minutes of Provincetown, the oldest continuous art colony in the US. Sarah’s work can be seen there at the Boathouse Press Gallery and at Viridian Artists, NYC. Sarah’s work is in many collections in the US and abroad including the Springfield Art Museum, and the Vivian and Gordon Gilkey Center for Graphic Arts in Portland, Oregon. "I work within the surreal manner of juxtaposing two or more images to create a new narrative. Life is fragmented, sometimes chaotic. There exists the sensory overload of today: technology, social media, work, politics… This is reflected in my artworks’ mixed-imagery, mixed techniques: printmaking, digital art, drawing, photography and paint. I choose subject matter drawn from myth, literature, herstory, memory and re-imaginings. My process of experimentation with color, varying techniques and layering accentuates the re-telling of a story through time."
