About The Artwork

I found a damaged old black and white photo of a girlfriend resting on some forgotten rooftop from many years (decades?) ago. It was one of those decisive moments that photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson writes about. My girlfriend always reminded me of some water/wood nymph who'd entice the unwary traveler. I scanned it and cleaned it a bit. For fun, I manipulated the picture using the recent photoshop updates when I stumbled upon the three underlying figures after combining the filters with a new app. I realized I was looking at The (River of Lost) Love. The first in a series of the "Lost Books of the Underverse." If anyone wants a signed copy, I'm printing her on Hahnemühle German Etching as a 16x24. Place your order here, and I can send her rolled up in a tube. German Etching is s a traditional mold-made copperplate printing paper, complete with an inkjet coating designed especially for FineArt. When it arrives, you'll notice the paper has a curve. It will lay flat once correctly framed. You can also order reprints here via Saatchi. Drop me a line if you have any questions. The River of Lost Love is another missing book from the Unwritten Library in the Underverse. Book Synopsis: For the last ten years, Emerson is still trying to find a way to leave the Underverse. He met and fell in love with the Youngest of the Three Sisters along the way. The Sisters are part of the Hecate and can never be parted for long. The Sisters also know the path that will take him home. However, there is a price to be paid. He must give up his memories. The Eldest Sister despises him because of his disruptive influence over the Youngest. She finally tells him how to get back to his family without taking payment by sailing down the River of Lost Love. Still, there is always a price to be paid to Hecate, and a debt is placed on him. Let's hope Emerson can pay it soon, or he may never find his way home.
