Mongolia
I was born and raised in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and currently reside in the same city. I have a passion for literature and art, and I am a literary researcher and writer by profession. Drawing and painting have always been a significant part of my life, and I have been self-taught in this field since I was a child. I believe that I am still in the process of learning and growing as an artist. The initial feeling I experienced as a child when I first started drawing and painting is something I strive to maintain in my work. It was a pure and unfiltered expression that I want to preserve. Living in Mongolia, where we have many bright and sunny days throughout the year, my paintings and artworks often incorporate vibrant colors. I draw inspiration from the environment I grew up in and the ancient Mongolian culture, which valued symbolism and art. I independently study images, illustrations, stitches, and meanings found in archaeological finds, and I incorporate these elements into my work. Traditional Mongolian line art, with its repetitive patterns and lack of distance, also influences my creations. I work in the genres of surrialism and contemporary art. Literature and the writings of world authors have greatly influenced my artistic vision. I have a habit of creating visual interpretations of the stories that resonate with me. Nature and the world itself serve as my biggest inspiration, as I find them to be the most beautiful aspects of life. To promote sustainability, I incorporate recycled and waste materials, such as rags and scraps from the sewing industry, into my artwork. I also use fallen wood and materials like felt and wool. Turning eco-friendly recycled and waste materials into valuable works of art is a responsibility that I believe we all share. Thank you for visiting my page and taking the time to learn about my artistic journey. Sincerely, Ch Solongo
