Lina Swarovski is an Artist based in Tirol. Before discovering her calling as a contemporary painter, Lina trained and worked as a medical doctor. Inspired by the healing effect art therapy had on her oncology patients, Lina realized that the best medicine for her both personally and professionally is art. She traded in her scalpels and stethoscope for pallet knives and paint brushes. Her artwork celebrates the world around her, in particular Tirolean landscapes, its culture, and people. With subtle inspiration from her personal journey, and delicate nods to famous artists from the various countries in which she has lived; Lina’s work exudes the warmth and struggle of the human experience (even in her still life paintings) with the same bright, complex, and soulful energy that you feel when you meet her.
