My name is Anna Karachunsky , I am a modern artist. Graduated from an Art school in Ukraine. After that also studied at the Art school in Haifa, Israel. I received my higher education at the faculty of Design and animation of the University of Design and Graphics Witzo in Haifa. Having received a degree, I began my career in internet marketing and web development agencies as an animator, designer and creative director. During this same period, I taught animation at a children's art school. I also painted realistic portraits to order, single and family, of various sizes from small photographs; I artistically designed gift albums to order for various family celebrations. I participated in various exhibitions. A decade later, I switched my attention to contemporary painting and abstract, these areas have always been my parallel interest. I have discovered a new style that I am very fascinated by: the combination of classical style and abstract in one work. In my works I use both traditional and non-traditional materials: cardboard and hot glue, tree bark, denim, and other various materials. I like to create textured works, with repeating elements in different variations. I am inspired by all the textures found in nature: the pattern of a tree cut, the pattern on plant leaves, the texture of shells, corals, stone patterns, the colors of animals and birds. At this time in my work I use acrylic paints, hot glue, gold and silver leaf inclusions, creating matte and iridescent effects. ________ My paintings are exhibited in local private collections .
