I am a visual artist creating diverse artwork mainly from the African-American diaspora. I started out from a traditional perspective, but now am embracing more modern ways to create and express myself. I still like to do traditional pieces, because I don't want to just do the same type of thing over and over. I must admit I enjoy doing the modern pieces because you are able to be more free and it keeps your artwork current and fresh. My artwork has been purchased by the City of Hampton, VA, various institutions, collectors throughout the US and commissions.
