ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The colors and dramatic blue water landscape were meant to show a time of unrest and self expression. Growing up in Costa Rica, you are taught to be fearful of the bull and it’s shear power but you can also understand that we as men have the power to control them and manipulate what we want them to do for us. For centuries bulls have been used as feed, transportation, entertainment and more so this connection between man and bull is very similar except that sometimes we submit ourselves to work and entertainment to pay the “bills”. The bulls unfortunately do not have that choice.
