ABOUT THE ARTWORK
65 Naira per litre an artistic interpretation of the effect of impunity enjoyed by corrupt military officers in the Nigerian political scene from 1992 to 2009. Fuel pump prices rose from 15.3 kobo to 65 Naira a litre causing mass protests at every point and the economy stood still. The Educational, Health care, Agricultural and transportation system were directly affected and this led to another mass protest until another democratic Government was finally installed in 2009.
