About The Artwork
I like to think of my works as pictures of memories from my childhood which are like a fairy tale by now. My inspiration comes mostly from family photos. I'm finding old, forgotten pictures in my parents or grandparents house and use them as a start for a picture. I also love to collect other peoples stories. Then I think of them, rethink, forget and remind. After that they are like dreams appearing unconsciously. But for some reason stay in my mind.

Kasia Gawron is a professional artist, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland and School of Visual Arts in New York, USA. After time spent in the USA and China, she settled down in Poland, where she lives now, focused on painting and art education. Kasia worked for many years as a Graphic Designer and Colorist but after having a very vivid prophetic dream some time ago foreseeing her work and future, she decided to focus on painting and drawing. As an artist she has a very strong interest in drawing human body, exploring sensual side of humans and beauty of bodies of all shapes. Loves color and using bold, contrasting colors is a staple of her works.
