ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work was inspired by my time as artist in residence at a country estate in Scotland. They have the largest collection of snowdrops in the UK, and the forest was carpeted in these stunning snowdrops in the spring. They are rumored to have been planted by the children of the estate as a punishment when they had been a bit naughty.. hence the title.
