Material, Presence, and Light — Abstract Oils, Copper, and Sculptures I create works that command attention and transform space — expressive oils, three-dimensional copper canvases, and sculptures that engage with texture, movement, and atmosphere. My oils pulse with intensity, gesture, and color, while copper and sculptures interact with light, reflecting both their material presence and symbolic resonance. Inspired by the monumental works of Anselm Kiefer and the tactile lyricism of Antoni Tàpies, I choose materials for their history, weight, and expressive potential. I work with copper, the metal of Venus, long revered in alchemy and present in our blood, connecting my art to both human experience and symbolic tradition.
