A joyful feeling to this textured, painting , starting with winter, with fresh snow,on the ground, the trees have not started to grow any leaves yet , which is exposing wonderful textures in the bark of the trees. further into the scene, it is spring, a carpet of blue bells are resting under shadows of the trees, under, bright early morning sunshine . A robin singing in the change of winter to spring, a scene of hope for a peaceful year to come. This painting is textured and layered overtime with a palette knife and brush and is painted around the sides so it can be hung without a frame.
