ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The picture shows a cute Indian couple of old people in traditional clothes. I was inspired to create this painting by the often replicated image of Grant Wood's painting "American Gothic". And I wanted to create my own interpretation of this story, but with real people and in a more understandable and warm vector. The image of a long, trusting and deep relationship always creates a feeling of comfort, reliability and stability in the soul. Love is always a pleasure to draw, in whatever form it manifests itself! This artwork is one of the series of works based on my inspiring expeditions to India. I did the sketch on the spot, and when I got home, I immediately got to work. This painting can be a wonderful gift for parents on a memorable date or for lovers of bright colors and Indian culture. Also, it will be a sophisticated addition and accent to any interior! This painting is coated with acrylic styrene art varnish and is fade resistant and easy to care for. I will send it carefully packed in a tube or box (on request) with all required documents attached.
