I'm a fine artist who lives part time in wine country California and part time in New Orleans. After college I spent 4 years as a muralist designing and painting the background scenes for the animal exhibits at a wildlife museum. I have also worked as a commercial artist, primarily illustration and animation. I began to work seriously as fine artist while living for 3 years on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands where I was much inspired and influenced by the island's incredible beauty. My work at that point developed into symbolism and surrealism as a way to express my ideas about world issue, then gradually evolved into working with light which encompasses both what I see in the world around me, and what I see in my inner world.
