Born 1951. UK. Now lives and works near Stamford, Lincolnshire. The subject matter is diverse but draws its main inspiration from the effects of the elements upon the created environment, and the rich colours and textures which occur as a result of this. Peeling paint, weather-stained walls and tarnished metal contribute to the overall aesthetic. Many of the materials used here are sourced from waste products. The paper is manufactured by the artist from the recycled notes of his recent book Stamford and Surroundings. The paint is also manufactured by the artist. The palette is infinite and includes industrial and domestic products together with conventional artist materials.
