Hi ! Thanks a lot for choosing to visit my store. I am Madhura Gowda, born and raised in Bangalore, India. I am a self-taught artist, still exploring myriad mediums and styles. I have always been passionate about creative arts such as painting, singing and fashion designing. I am freakishly obsessed with colors. Anything colorful ‘ll have a presence either in my wardrobe, cupcakes, clothes, accessories or my work of art. Color in essence has been a large part of my consciousness owing to the deep understanding of prevalent diversity in lifestyles, festivals and traditions of a culturally vibrant India. I'm a very aural person; as soon as I hear a lyric or phrase, I'm transported to a particular time or place. My taste varies wildly. Intricate paintings are my favorite, because as I work through the details, I discover a sense of free spirit in me thus making it easy to get lost in them. I seek inspiration in film, music, art, fondness for animals and travelling. When an idea strikes me, I'm impatient, excited and my adrenaline gets going. All of my senses colloborate in achieving a fuzzy vision of art.Thus my creations emerge from the movement of my hands while they interact with my mind. Although during the process I end up experimenting colours upon a whole lot of furniture and walls. I sell most of my work via internet where I have sold, and continue to sell many original artworks. I have exhibited my work in comic con (India) and Sunday Soul Sante. In 2015, an upscale real estate developer commissioned me to make a series of illustrations to use it for their model villa interiors.
