This work is highly inspired by the horrible experience of domestic violence ? how its affected the victim mentally. The LOVE a mother have for her child is unconditional incredible. Trauma is an understatement, when a mother is been violented and witnesses cruelty inflicted on her three months child, this is an act is brutality, inhumanity and barbarism. She sacrifices her body as a shields against the blows, kicks,claps and feels no pain just knowing that he is safe. The love is inreplacable. LOVE THY SELF.

jane agolia, is an African based Artist in Nigetia hails from Bakana in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, in Nigeria. She graduated from the department of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Port Hacourt, and further trained as a painter at the Universal Studios of Art in Lagos, under the tutelage of masters. Inspired largely by cubism, Agolia's art is experimental, as she tries to develop her artistic repertoire she calls PLASTOGRAPH. She has participated in several exhibitions in Port Hacourt and other states in Nigeria.
