Fairy-tale Artist. By exploring ethnography and mythology, I form patterns of the ethnos. Drawing on the ancient wisdom of folk tales and contemporary scientific research in psychology, sociology, and philosophy, I seek mythological metaphors that reflect the relationship between humans and their environment. In their unity and opposition, I see both immense potential and limiting factors for the development of an individual. Speaking on behalf of the archaic feminine divine entity — Yaga-Roga, I search for sacred meanings in ordinary things and everyday life. I personally walk the paths of my characters, embrace them, and change alongside them. My artistic universe exists within the field of relational aesthetics. I work in acrylic painting, enhanced with elements of mixed media. By combining techniques of grisaille and polychrome, abstraction and figurativism, image and text, I create my own individual language. Performance, installation, and happening help me establish personal contact with the viewer, receive immediate feedback, and make them a co-participant in the creative process. In this way, I create my own myth, and by immersing themselves in it, the viewer can uncover the ancient wisdom of their ancestors and find ways to navigate the complex situations of the modern world.
