Germany
Ute Laum lives and works as a freelance artist near the Baltic Sea in Germany. Born, raised and educated in Bonn, she moved to the new eastern states of Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Her artistry is mainly inspired by the amazing landscape of Mecklenburg -Western Pomerania. Its light, nature and coastline is overwhelming. Her artworks allow and invite the viewers to their own interpretations. This is reached by the abstract manner her works occur in. Her works are to be found in private collections in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain, France, Israel, the USA, Canada and in the United Arab Emirates. The artworks: All artworks acrylic on canvas. Highly pigmanted colours by Lascaux Switzerland. Sides are always painted. All artworks are finished with matt varnish, including UV-protection and are shipped in a crate.
