ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I thought about the guys who went to protect us from the Russian world. About an ordinary guy who yesterday listened to the sounds of the city, slept soundly in his bed, had breakfast, lunch and dinner to the music or the sounds of silence, and now he is a soldier. And his life was taken from him. Such guys, I know for sure, have a parental home and good happy memories of it, of their parents. This story is about a guy who realizes he's not coming back. He remembered parents, their home, childhood and youth, and said goodbye. I don't have such happy memories of my childhood and youth with my parents. I have a different experience. But I am sincerely glad that some people have a positive start in life, at least a beginning. What can be remembered with joy and warmth. Therefore, this picture is a symbiosis of other people's memories and my desires for a different, happy childhood.
