My name is Ioan Nemes
I was born in 1984.
I went to art high school in 1999 and i graduated in 2003.
In my early years of painting i did mostly landscapes and i was inspired by Romanticism, Impressionism and Post-Impressionism movements.
After i graduated the art university in 2009, i did 2 years Master on painting (2009-2011), where i began experimenting with abstract compositions in acrylics. I was preoccupied also by mixt compositions with abstract and figurative elements.
In the period 2009-2012, I worked three years in school education as a teacher of art education.
I paint both abstract and figurative, and have many artworks in acrylic and oil. After completing specialized studies in painting (10 years in total), besides the artistic movements that I mentioned above, I was also inspired a little by realism, regarding figurative painting, and on abstract painting, abstract expressionism. Although there are influences on the evolution of my artistic style, and I like to experiment different techniques and styles, I also like to discover new methods and techniques of artistic approach, to be spontaneous and to offer an original interpretation.
In figurative painting, I'm interested in different topics and subjects from landscape, seascape, urban landscape, still life, floral compositions, portraits and compositions with characters, thus creating some historical paintings. Currently in figurative painting I focus more on landscape and floral compositions.
With the passage of time, i have experienced different styles and approach, to making the transition from figurative to abstract during the two-year Master.
In my abstract painting, one can see various forms created spontaneously: the faces of people, floral structures, crystalline structures, micro and macro cosmic structures. I also like to combine abstract compositions with figurative elements thus creating compositions that are figurative and abstract. In such paintings, can be seen how the world emerges from the representation of figurative to abstract or vice versa, the two worlds merging and revealing the creative power of art. A world made possible with the help of conscious - suconstient and spontaneity, creativity and imagination. My works have a great aesthetic value and originality, the style and representation. My main source of inspiration is my own creativity and imagination.
