ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I painted this sad teenage figure at the age of 17, when I felt lost, troubled and unhappy. In hindsight, I think that these moments of intense despair are an universal experience for adolescence. Change, growth, development, you could even say metamorphosis that are cumulated in short period of just couple of years have their price - extremely strong emotions.
