My 17 years of life experience living in different national parks in Zimbabwe and as a grandchild of a Senior wildlife officer at Zimparks made me learn a lot about animals and how precious they are to the ecosystem. These guys are known as painted dogs, African wild dogs or lycaon. These are one among endangered species only found in Africa. Their population is decreasing in a devastating manner. This painting is a way of showing support and solidarity in protecting these rare animals for the future generations to enjoy seeing these guys as we are doing now ourselves. It also symbolises a sign of unity and care in little we have. These animals are known for taking care of their members incase they are wounded or attacked. Thy move in groups, a strong sense of what family is all about. I used colourful olis to demonstrate their colourful existence. Lets take care of our wildlife and coexistence with each other in a good manner.
