ABOUT THE ARTWORK
81x94cm acrylic and charcoal on canvas. So, after seeing the incredible Helen Frankenthaler exhibition (London) I went to my studio on Clerkenwell Road and painted this. Whilst it doesn't include her signature pouring techniques I did steal some colours from "Untitled", February 1952 at the gallery entrance.
