ABOUT THE ARTWORK
CERTIFICATE OF MERIT AWARD for GOUACHE SALMAGUNDI CLUB 2018 On a school trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the 6th grade, I was blown away by the paintings of Harnett. I had the idea of updating his original After The Hunt which not only shows the results of the hunt and the hunter's equipment to a fighter pilot/hunter in 1943. Of course not being able to show the results I focused on his equipment, surroundings and all that brought a little of "back home" to his quarters in England during WW2.
