About The Artwork
"After the Runway" Part of my series "Dootsrednusim", in which I was expressing how misunderstood I felt at the time. The painting "After The Opening" is a great compliment to this painting if hung next to this painting on its right. I was also exploring my portrait paintings skills in realism and abstraction, and trying to work out my hatred for the color red by using bright red in many of my works during this series. This painting was inspired by a photograph of myself after participating in a runway fashion show.
