ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Painted from a sketch on site, in the dark of Alexandra Park in Clevedon where the trees and leaf shapes come tonight with seasonal colourful lighting to brighten the winter. I finished this in the studio and took the colours up further to add depth and the start of a path-like journey through this surreal and wonderful landscape. My favourite watercolours, and painted on heavy watercolour card which is made locally. I hope this leaves the viewer with a sense of wonder, adventure and magic.
