ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Timeless, Spiritual and Quranic Cosmology, the verses cross many Alams to speak the truth to mankind. My paintings introduce Roman- English calligraphy to the canvas world. My artwork encompasses shadows of Alams inspired by mystic belief when the Divine Essence desired to manifest, so He created Noor-e-Muhammad and blew His Rooh-e-Qudusi (The Divine Soul). I use colors extracted from birds and flowers, the existing creation in Alam-e-Nasoot. My view of Calligraphy is intended as being revealed by Jibrael from Alam-e-Jabroot Realm of Power) to the heart of Muhammad in Alam-e-Nasoot (Realm of Physical Bodies). I portray bold strokes to reveal freedom in understanding the meaning of Quranic Ayats as they were sent keeping in view every man irrespective of color, creed, or race. A universal Nuskha (Prescription). The brush strokes, layer upon layer, tell the levels of Revelation and how they're connected in One frame. My artwork desires to look within and understand the concept of Oneness at the liberty of One's perception.

Amna Chaudhry is an emerging abstract Islamic artist who has been practicing art for the past 5 years and a devoted student of Ustad Ejaz Yousafi. She has a special interest in spirituality and Islamic cosmology, which she skillfully communicates through her unique artwork. Her work has been exhibited at various galleries including her first solo show at Storia Art Gallery in 2020. In 2022, she participated in a group show at AT Art Galleries and later in 2023, her work was displayed at the Alhamra Art Council and Faisalabad institute of Art and design FITFD.
