She holds B.F.A. in photography and her works have been featured in numerous publications and group shows at SITE Santa Fe and The Gerald Peters Gallery. Her photos from Syria were printed in the Publio magazine, and an intimate series depicting her childhood was published by PULSE Media. In 2013 she moved to Mexico, focusing more on her longterm passion for painting. Amelia Opalinska lives and works in Merida, Mexico as she continues to explore painting, writing and photography.
