"Ambientazione 19" Fine Art Print

The original and unique idea is to represent a painting inside the painting itself, as if it were part of
a photographic shot of a furniture catalogue where aesthetics is indissolubly linked to the
importance of the creative act because, Salvatore seems to suggest, beauty cannot exist without the
physical gesture of creating it, generating it and positioning it inside the personal and intimate world
of each one, the one constituted by one's own home, the place where one can relax and meditate on
everything that revolves around everyday life. On the other hand, however, the artist's philosophical
thought also emerges, that tendency of current life to bring out the appearance at the expense of
being, of manifesting a depth that must be hidden as much as human presence is absent within his
canvases. Yet the objects one surrounds oneself with, are strongly present and almost protagonists,
those chairs, those sofas, that disorder that allows one to sense the recent passage of the man or woman who live in those places, as if their presence was not necessary to have a trace of their
personality, as if those objects told were already enough to reveal their attitudes, thoughts,
memories.
Trasformo le mie idee, emozioni e sentimenti in una galleria di volti e figure femminili resi in una interpretazione squisitamente poetica, ma anche in un'acuta analisi introspettiva. Il mio è uno stile fotografico, d'accordo, perché è anche molto realista la rappresentazione di questa esistenza sognata, ma di una fotografia alla quale sia stato negato il supporto, la pellicola stessa, i sali, il mercurio, l'argento, così che il delicatissimo equilibrio gelatinoso si è come materializzato nell'aria, sospeso miraggio, pronto a dissolversi, scomparire, davanti il primo sguardo indiscreto.

Negli ultimi 2 anni mescolo tre diverse sfumature di realismo per generare uno stile assolutamente personale e innovativo dentro il quale si perdono e si confondono anche temi del vivere contemporaneo in alcuni casi vicini alle atmosfere della Metafisica-
