ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The raw power of Niagara Falls is still impresive even though the Falls have only 10% of the original water volume they had when first seen by Europeans centuries ago. I painted on the trail next to the American Falls. This was a challenging plein air painting experience what with the throngs of tourists, the roar and mist of falling water and the heat and humidity. Despite the challenges, it was well worth the effort. I will never forget the experience!
