Angel Heart Print

My art is a way for me to convey without words my emotions. I paint hearts because it is the symbolistic expression of love and a reminder of what matters most....love. Inspiration for my work comes from the beauty in the external world translated into internal self-discovery of truth, emotions, love, and response to color, texture, and depth. Through the creative process, I investigate the nature and expanse of my authentic self. And though I sometimes get mired in the deep channel of creativity and self-discovery, I still bring a sense of play and fun to my paintings. Exploration and adventure are a theme in my life and is symbolized by the intangible and often fragmented nature of many of the images I paint. Working intuitively, I try to keep a balance between chance and control. My paintings are words I cannot express. They are the voice of my heart and soul. All for love, Paul Nash
